Putting a professional in charge of the big day is the best way to ensure your family and friends are fully immersed in the magic of the day. While you are preparing and celebrating, your new event friends will handle the behind the scenes efforts and bring your vision to life.
Wedding day and event coordination is great for self-planners who will be planning the details themselves, but will still need help with day-of responsibilities such as decorating, keeping on time, and clean-up.
With Wedding Day & Event Coordination, services begin 60 days prior to your reserved date. Spend your final days in bridal bliss, and rest easy knowing the plans you've put in place will be flawlessly executed.
On your special day, our professional duo will take care of your day-of responsibilities. A team of two coordinators will supervise your vendor load-in and set-up, decorate as needed, welcome and direct guests, assist your officiant and musician with getting you down the aisle, manage your timeline to ensure smooth event transitions and special moments, handle any event concerns or changes as they arise, distribute vendor gratuities, pack-up all personal items, and oversee complete venue clean-up and vendor departure.
Approximately one week or so, leading up to your event date, we will check-in with your venue and hired vendors to confirm the details you've already put in place. This will include confirming correct arrival and departure times, contact information and any important details noted in their contracts such as required floor plans, set-ups and instructions for special moments. For ceremonies, our team will be onsite for your scheduled rehearsal to assist your wedding party.
Between one and two months prior, we will meet with you, onsite at your venue or event space, to "walk-through" all of your current event plans. We'll carefully review your details and take time to ensure that even all the "little" things are appropriately planned for and fully covered. After full discussion of your plans, we'll help you finalize a formal timeline for the entire day.

Planning assistance is great for wedding couples and party hosts who are handling the majority of the details themselves, but prefer the comfort of honest advice and minor guidance as they prepare for the big day.
Our personal twist on standard "partial-planning" assistance offers you planning support for the average cost of standard day-of coordination. With Planning Assistance, services begin once a reservation is confirmed. You'll also enjoy free use of minor decor items and helpful event equipment as well as complimentary delivery of small items purchased through our favorite event friends.
We're happy to help you plan for the day! There are plenty of ways to save on costs without sacrificing any glamorous details.
Once you book a reservation with Under the Moon Events, you'll have unlimited guidance and support from your coordinators by e-mail and phone. We'll help you understand the average pricing for various event needs and connect you to vendors appropriate for vision. We'll help you review options, proposals, contracts and make sure you're asking all the right questions.
You may schedule up to three (3) in-person planning meetings, in addition to your final walk-through appointment and initial consultation, plus we'll check-in with you and your vendors as you ease through your plans.
You'll also enjoy free (day-of) use of our personal event equipment including minor decor items such as lanterns and vases, useful emergency equipment, as well as helpful small furniture items.

After full discussion of your plans, we'll help you finalize your floor plan, a timeline for the entire day, and all contact information.
We'll handle checking in with vendors the week-of to reconfirm all details and be onsite for any scheduled ceremony rehearsals.
